INGREDIENTS:  Serves 3

6 idlis

4 tsp. mint and coriander chutney

3 thinly sliced tomato

3 thinly sliced onion

1 cup oil

For cutlets:

2 cups of diced vegetables (peas, carrot and potatoes)

1 tsp. Maida

A pinch of turmeric

1/2 tsp. red chilli powder

1/2 tsp. coriander powder

1/2 tsp. garam masala

1/2 tsp. ginger-garlic paste

1 Tbsp. fresh coriander leaves chopped

Salt to taste

Oil for shallow fry

METHOD OF MAKING IDLI BURGER:

Take a pan and heat some oil in it. Fry the idlis in the oil till it gets golden brown. Now take the crispy side outside facing and the soft one keep it as the inside facing. Apply the tangy chutney on each aise of the Idli. Take the vegetables and boil them and let them cool. Now sauté the onions and add ginger garlic paste, turmeric, chilli powder and coriander powder and garam masala. Mash the vegetables and onion mix and add some Maida and coriander leaves to this. Add salt to taste and mix well. Now make cutlets out of it and shallow fry them. Assemble in burger with sauce layer and enjoy eating the yummy Idli burger. Enjoy the delicious Idli burger at home.
