For Dal Stuffing:
1 Cup Moong Dal
1 tsp. Ghee
2 No’s Cloves
4 No’s Black Peppercorns
1 tsp. Cumin Seeds
1/2 tsp. Salt
1/2 tsp. Turmeric Powder
1 tsp. Red Chilli Powder
1 Cup Water
For Atta Dough:
1 Cup Atta
1 tsp. Salt
1/2 tsp. Kalonji
1/2 tsp. Ajwain
1 tsp. Ghee
1/2 Cup Water
Method of making the recipe:
To get started, take a cup of washed moong dal and soak this in water for half an hour.
Take the pressure cooker and heat ghee in the cooker itself. To this add cloves, black pepper corns and the cumin seeds.
Add the moong dal which is soaked and add salt, turmeric powder, red chilli powder and sauté well. Do this on medium flame.
To this add water and let the dal get pressure cooked. Wait for 1 whistle and later mash out the dal completely. Let this dal be cooled for some time.
Then take the roti dough and take the stuffing of the dal paratha and place the spoon of the dal mix and roll the roti neatly.
Make sure the roti is cooked well both sides. Apply ghee and serve hot.
